03 Chainmaille
Chainmaille pieces represent my love of fantasy, intrigue, and ancient castles. Putting these pieces together keeps me calm and focused, and I love the intricate look when they are complete. I mostly use aluminum rings because they are extremely light but carry a similar look to stainless and silver.
01 Hand Stamped Jewelry and Accessories
These items are some of the most decievingly time-consuming in my shop. Each letter is hammered into the metal one at a time, and must be lined up accordingly for the design. The impressions are then painted with vintaj patina, which creates contrast against the metal.
02 Beaded Jewelry
I only use glass and stone beads in order to keep my items of the upmost quality. My favourite uses are for bracelets and earrings, especially using groupings of complementary colours.
05 Knitwear
You'll note that the Wishing Well is not a knitwear-only shop, and that is because I only make scarves. I enjoy the basic repetition of knitting, and I have been inspired by media such as Outlander and Harry Potter to create replicas of items worn in those productions.
04 Paintings
My paintings range from 2x2 canvases to more traditional sizes, from acrylic to watercolour, from abstract to reference-based. I enjoy putting a brush to paper and seeing what I can create with it. Because my paintings take on a life of their own, I recommend that customers looking to commission a painting have more of a feeling they want to convey, rather than an exact vision.
Mediums You Will Find at the Wishing Well
Unlike many shops, you will discover a myriad of different items at Zoe's Wishing Well. This is because I believe that artistic expression finds its way through many forms, and each has its own meaning and interest to the creator and its future owner.
05 Photography Prints
As I travel, I have found that some of my photography inspires more than just memories of my trip. I will soon be offering prints of my more artistic shots so that others can enjoy the amazing scenery of the world.
